Two blocks from the beach, the space was designed by Thomas Schoos, above, who is responsible for the interiors of the popular Los Angeles restaurants Koi and Table 8. <br /><br />The Penthouse, with a shimmering wall of Capiz shells, a glass fireplace and curtained cabanas for privacy, above, was designed to appeal to bright young things, Mr. Schoos said.
